Now, let's see if my my first victim survived the attempt on his life:
I drove towards NBarden's house, mindful of the possibility of a police ambush.
I parked my Jeep a few hundred yards from his house and crept towards it, a gun in my hand.
When I came within view of the house I was frustrated by the sight of several police cruisers
parked in the drive. "Foiled," I though to myself as I retreated the way I had come.
That was alright though, there were plenty of chances left to even the score...
HawkeyeSPF successfully cracked both the password, and the clue to my victim.
NBarden is safe, for the moment. This is only a taste of what's to come, so don't
let your guard down yet.
Back at the police station, the cops crowded around the laptop and opened
the program I had left. Before them the following message appeared:
Good job. You have saved one of my victims, but many more remain and their
lives rely on your collective good judgment and common sense. Good luck, amigos.
Password clue #2:
"Out, out brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the
stage and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by
an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
