Dark Horseman.

When you play Ulaire Nertea, Dark Horseman, name a race. The Free Peoples player cannot assign Ulaire Nertea to skirmish a companion of the named race.

Does this mean that if you are facing a gondor deck with a frodo rb, you could name Gondor, and then Nertea would have to fight frodo?

Also, does it stay the same through the fierce skirmish? Do you have to be able to spot above named race?

One Ring to rule them all.
One Ring to find them.
One Ring to bring them all,
And in the darkness, bind them.

Only you have to name "Man", not "Gondor" :)

You don't have to spot a race to name it, if for some reason you do want the FP player to assign him.

And yup, he's awesome. As well he's fierce, so even if the Ring-bearer does have a pump in the first skirmish, he might be able to overwhelm in the second. :twisted:

Haha, I cobbled together a deck that uses Gollum, Shelob HL, Enquea LoM, and Nertea DH as the sole minions. If there's twilight for them, Shelob and Nertea are pretty fun together. ;D

--> led astray and so polite make some nice pool... it draws him may also be an option for shelob

--> This, I didn't know...

And yeah, if we consider that there is no competitive alternative of Nertea, he will be always on top - and I love him too!

that's why I love to trade them all away, card is too weird and not for an balanced play, I mean, when all argue about frenzy of arrows, that nazgul is harder than that

no one here will complain about the balance of a card which is totally useless ;), rather about the mistakes big D made... but please, not again any discussion about this problem!!

I think we should listen to K89. The less said about how bad the last sets were the better. Especially as most of you think the last few sets were the best!
