I really didn't buy that story at all. I didn't see anything particularly convincing with the picture, that could easily be done with photomanipulation. It made me laugh at this quote...
"I just don't see what else it could be - it's a digital camera so you can't accidentally double expose the shot and Connor swears there was no one around at the time."
Somebody is not familiar with
modern image-manipulation techniques.
