I don't think so...
Galadriel's small, weak, small vitality and low resistance. It screams FERNY! or BURDENS! at the opponent. Sure you ca crunch beatdown decks or swarms, but a good number of decks run corruption too.
If you want the RB to do stuff, I'd go with
PATHS. You can even get a
Daddy Twofoot Racket going there, possibly some
Golden Perch Ale to keep stuff in check or some other burden removal.\
The question with starting companions is "Can they survive?" Starting companions should be big enough to take on minions from the start. Merry +
Aldred are weak, throw out an extra twilight and say "crunch me."
Merry, Swordthain is a utility companion, not a fighting companion and
Aldred really isn't worth anything except in a Horn deck. I would start Eowyn, run tons of plains sites, run Riddermark Tacticians (to ensure that you either keep your plains or they take arrows), and then run
Border Patrol (this card is seriously good). With Eowyn started, you can slap a
Rohirrim Mount on her via Gamling and start dropping minions two for one!
The problem here is that you're not dedicated enough archery. Either go full-blown archery or go fighting. i mean, you can have some fighting to cover your bases, but I personally run Gimli RB in my deck with
Gimli's Battle Axe that throw arrows when you have threats,
Aragorn, Driven by Need w/
Aragorn's Bow,
Faramir, Son of Denethor with
Faramir's Bow, Rohan Archery stuff and
HIDAN to cover my bases.
So. Cards that are nonessential to the deck...
Work for the SwordHamstrung (x3)
King's BoardMorning CameBlood has Been SpilledThere's 7 cards out. In: Shire package? (
Daddy Twofoot,
PATHS,
Golden Perch Ale). Or more Rohan stuff (
Border Patrol,
Riddermark Tactician, Sword Racks...I especially recommend this one). Gondor package? (
Help in Doubt and Need,
Aragorn, Driven by Need,
Aragorn's Bow, Ranger's Longbow, Faramir, etc). Way too expensive though, probably.
That would cost you like...$60 to do that well.
