Hello there!
I'm pleased to say that I have finally played my very first two games of LOTR: TCG! It was with the only local player I could find after a few weeks!
I was using my Gondor/Isengard deck and my Elves/Sauron deck, he was running a Dwarves/Moria Swarm deck!
We played 2 games. First game turned out like this:
He had a lot of Goblins out, but
Aragorn, Isildur's Heir with
Armor of the Citadel saved me. I had
Merry, Loyal Companion out too. Aragorn, Merry, a couple of
Gondorian Blade, together with my
Tradesman From Lebennin and
Heirs of Gondor combo, ensure I saw of this Moria Swarm, which consisted of
Goblin Armory,
Goblin Scimitar,
Goblin Runner and so forth.
His fellowship had Dwarves, the most notable of them was
Durin III. He had lots of rings on him, and he would assign my toughest minion to him and win the skirmish.
Oh and he even had a Balrog,
Flame of Udun out!
Boromir, Doomed Heir won the skirmish due to
Gondorian Blade and a lot of Tokens from
Heirs of Gondor.
He outran me to site 9, which means I lost the game. But it was a very fun game!
Second game goes like this:I had
Cirdan, The Shipwright,
Legolas, Fearless Marksman,
Arwen, Elven Rider,
Lorien Swordsman out. But somehow, he managed to come up with TONS of Goblins, despite my efforts with
Aragorn, Heir to the White City,
Bill the Pony, and my elven "choke" fellowship. His combo of
Goblin Armory and Goblin Runer and card-playing from the discard pile, card-drawing, ensured that my Frodo had at least 4 Golbins on him. Oh well.

Thus ends my first two games from LOTR:TCG! I daresay it's the best ever start to a TCG I've ever had! (And I first played Magic: The Gathering back in '04)
Cheers,
Kenddrick
