i was thinking i might be able to find the box set that came with the 3 cards from FOTR Block.

im not sure. i remember my friend got it and it came with these book ends... anyone know if i could still find one? i need to get the movies...i only have full screen and it makes me mad... on VHS....

Actually there are a few sellers on Amazon that have it for about $56.  That seems to be the best deal available for the box set.  If you just want the cards it's much easier on the wallet to just trade/buy them separately as Ket already noted.

No official announcement was made. Best guess it will be somehow tied to "The Hobbit"'s release.

Does anyone know when LotR will come on Blue Ray?

My son works at Best Buy and had said it was supposed to release later this fall and Amazon.com is taking pre-orders.  However, another website states that it has been delayed to about March 2010.  They are supposedly releasing the whole trilogy and not one movie at a time.

I also heard that the first Blu-Disk release will be for the theatrical versions only.  So I will keep on waiting..

we got the boxset, but I didn't see the cards hmm...where are they located in the set?
