if i recall correctly Stand Against Darkness was one of the reasons Emir Delic won the worlds in 2004

hmm thats the same thing i do when i see namarie
@kralik i know whenever i play an elven deck i'll put in a couple Curse their Foul feet, Stand Against Darkness and Foul Creation about 2 or so, just to kill specific decks

Right, cause of Galadriel Total-Overpowered-Mighty-Brokeness you can pack cards like Stand Against Darkness and Curse Their Foul Feet! and they nicely turn into an "discard a condition or possession" event if you dont run across Sauron or Orc Swarm decks... Basically i dont understand why Lady Redeemed was ever printed...
