@ Lumpkin... Those would probably each go for at least $20-$25.

@Shilling... I'd be willing to pay for some of those sets as SOOK listed them.

A wizard is never late...nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

My opinion is that the second group does not have enough cards on it for it to be fair.

Hm yeah its tough to compare visually because of the five rares that are x2.  I agree with Lurtzy and think that though Ferny is the prize card in the lot, the first group still has more value overall.

Would anyone be willing to give a price breakdown for the rares in Mythdracon's list? Just trying to figure out why the trade is so unbalanced.

Group 1:
12 rares (5 Hunters, 4 TD), 2 Age's End, 7 uncommons
High-end: Scouring of the Shire

Group 2:
1 TD RF, 11 rares (3 Hunters, 3 TD), 2 uncommons
High-end: Bill Ferny, AoS; Beorning Axe; Arwen's Bow (foil)

Well, I'll take a shot at this. Think of it as a question, more than a statement--what prices should be increased/decreased? Just so both sides are on the same page.

Quote
Frenzy of Arrows x3
Black Land Overlord x3
Black Land Chieftain x2 - $3 each
Black Land Shrieker x2 - $3 each
Elendil's Army - $3
Gollum, Threatening Guide x2 - $2 each
Shelob, Menace - $4
Shelob, Her Ladyship x2 - $3 each
Scouring of the Shire
Morgul Gates - $3
Not This Time! - $4
Coordinated Effort
Gothmog, Morgul Leader - $4
$40 + Scouring of the Shire + 7 uncommons

Quote
Bill Ferny, AoS
Well-crafted Armor - $4
Beorning Axe
Arwen's Bow foil
Blood Runs Chill x2 - $4 each
Seasoned Leader x2 - $3 each*
Treachery - $3
Desert Lord - $2
Back to the Light - $3
Dinendal, Mirkwood Archer - $4
Guidance of the Istari x2
$30 + Bill Ferny, AoS + Beorning Axe + Arwen's Bow (foil) + 2 uncommons

(Seasoned Leader is worth a lot to some people, but The Rendezvous Point still sells them for $1.50 each.)

Well Black Land Chieftain and Not This Time are more like $5.00 IMO, but your point is made.  It's not really that uneven.

Yeah... Hunters and TD prices are tricky. I would say the Black Land guys are the cheaper ones and a piece of cake to find, but question is if I underestimated one side much more than the other. My feeling is that several of the prices listed so far in the first group have the potential to be higher... but then the biggies in the second group might make up the difference. Anyone have estimates for Scouring of the Shire; Bill Ferny, AoS; Beorning Axe; and Arwen's Bow (foil)?

Aragorn, Heir to the Throne of Gondor
Faramir, Captain of Ithilien

I have a friend who has both of these...just wondering.
Felipe Musco:
(after all, it's a CHARITY organization, I still have SOME principles, even having gone through Law School... :P),
Elf Lvr:
Bit of a scrawny Iowan kid with an unhealthy artifact obsession. Oh, and a God of Spam. In a good way.
Ahhh!!! SoP, you're a genius!!! :gp: ~Menace64

SoP: $6-8 each maybe?

Fatty: Seems fair to me, you're getting 4 rares foils and giving two good rares foils and two uncommon foils.

Vroengard: Both are power cards so I'd say its even, though Gandalf, Returned might be a little more value seeing as its RoS.
