And you're not just paying $1 for the One Ring.  I'm just playing by your rules chief, and showing that your logic is flawed.

Bottom Line:

TREEBEARD AND REDBOOK ARE NOT WORTH MORE THAN A RING OF RINGS FOIL

I wouldn't worry about it too much guys....The trade has now been completed and I think both people are happy with it.

I am getting the 11RF1 side (never finding one from over 3 boxes of shadows) and have bought a few boxes of Mount Doom, only to ever pull 1x treebeard...

CCG obssession is an okay guide if what you want to do is buy individual cards, and ebay is an okay guide for what the general population thinks they are worth.... but IMO when it comes to trading it's all about who wants what more...

It is always interesting to hear other people's opinions though...

I've never seen a NON-foil version of RoR. I'm not sure why.

i've got one. ;)

but seriously: i cannot understand people having an enormous discussion like that about a trade which isn't even more then $2 worth... that's absurd to my mind.
i think the trade looks fair.

My guess would be Simbelmyne, but I have never seen a this foil sell.  SaWtC is does sell pretty high compared to many of the foils from the earlier sets,  but not for all that much total.

I have seen a Simbelmyne (foil) sell on ebay before for around $50.  The Aragorn, Defender of Rohan (O) I would imagine would go for quite a bit as well.  Goblin Armory (foil) can go for quite a bit as well.

I'd say $2.
