lol, I would get the sets except that I'd need 4 of them or so, just so I could have multiple copies (and then I'm spending WAY more than I ever wanted to just for 18c3
). I just have issues paying the same amount for 4 common cards from T&D that I would for a 40 card common set...there is a large discrepancy on card value if I can buy 4x 18c3 for $12 or an entire 40 card T&D set for $13.
Basically cards are worth more on their own then they are as a set. That's just the way it works. If you just wanted one copy of a common card from T&D, most people would rather pay $2.00 for that one card rather than $13 for 1 card they need and 39 that they don't need.
Earlier in this thread someone said that a set of Hunters is worth around $400, that doesn't mean that every card is worth $2.00. Some are worth $0.75 (some less) and some are worth $35+
When it comes to CCG's (at least LotR) the individual cards are worth more than the sum of their parts in a set =)
As for Ulaire Otsea from Realms, that card has continually gone up in price since I opened the store because it's a card that I have often sold out of.
I strive to keep my prices a place where I will always have a card in stock if you want it. You may have to pay a premium for it, but I will have it.
You can shop around on eBay and get cards cheaper from various sellers (and pay for shipping several times over), or you can come to my website and buy all the cards you need at once (plus shipping is free for TLHH Members through my website).
