TPBM is slightly-less stoked about The Dark Knight than menace64 (because, honestly, nobody can be as stoked as I am).

Ehm, no, actually, which is strange for me.  I spend most of my life in tricky situations, and now you've helped me to realise that things are pretty peaceful right now.  Thanks for that!   :)

TPBM has heard the old Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times," and has learned its meaning the hard way (through personal experience).

Rincewind is classic.  I also love (but would fear) his luggage.  Other favs: librarian, Death, patrician.
