This deck just came to me, Echo of Luthien never gets used. I have tweaked it to add Glimpse of Fate and Gandalf with some Gandy support cards to make Echo of Luthien defender +1.

So the deck uses Mallorn-trees to place unwanted [Elven] cards on the bottom of the draw deck, then Echo of Luthien discards unwanted cards in hand to make everyone weak, activating GoF and BoT. All these events get tossed into the discard pile and make Cirdan a beast.

The Shadow is there for initiative to add wounds wounds wounds.

This deck is pretty good, but I have a feeling it would be weak against [Sauron] wraiths. Particularly Dead Ones.

pretty sweet dude! one thing i might do is swap out ancient emnity for some sturdy strength pumps. the reason being: if you lose arwen, the most you are getting out of one of those is strength +1 when you play it, and +1 when you exert cirdan. having something like defiance would let you have a decent +2 or 4 if you are facing nazgul, and that could be lifesaver if your ring-bearer is in a brawl.

talk about cycling though, not only and you putting all those cards on the bottom, you are also discarding them, AND a card from hand. pretty nifty.

i'm confused, why would it be so weak vs. these guys?

It was a game played on GCCG. Galadriel was overwhelmed by Gollum and Dead Ones. Hence the defender + additions.
I can't say any more on the matter, or else I will lose my privileged status in the Dead Ones club.

Since I am posting from my phone on a trip, I won't have a good chance until Monday to really take a look. But Echo of Luthien and Mallorn-Trees were made for each other!

Just an inside joke, as ket has explained. ;)

I am not a moderator, and I don't have odd balls.

That said, I am in a special group that means more to me than any of your groups, and that is being me. You guys can try, but it's a one-person club.

Let's go back to the topic.

I feel like your fellowship lacks burden protection so you should think about Narya and Sam, SoH.

You also may need more healing so what about Shadow Between or the other Nenya, Ring of adament. I also prefer the old version of Asfaloth.

Elf-Song over Narya and Son of Hamfast because of Cirdan.

i like the asfaloth he has because if your conditions get tossed, asfaloth, elven steed could be your only savior.

but swarm and corruption could both be your achillies heel. one decent minion on galadriel and shes down for the count, especially if your only strength pumps are +1. i mean your weilder of the flam and dismay our enemies will only get you so far. glimpse of fate can probably save your hide in a pinch, but a pair of elven swords would not go amiss.

as for burdens, i'm with kralik, elf-song keeps cirdan happy.

The Fellowship Asfaloth has the advantage that it makes Galadriel str+2 at the most common site 9 in Movie: Dagorlad. This is great for resisting the Shadow's last huzzah.

I have modified the deck, I will edit later, but now I used Gimli with a Ring of Guile, Quick as May Be for swarm protection, and some events have been modified.

I have cut all the [Sauron] cards and use the Dunlends that can be discarded by the FP if they discard cards from hand.

Very good idea.
