Nah, anything to do with card prices/worth and trade lists / notices to sell / auction finds seems to fit right in with the Esgaroth Marketplace.

Anyway, there's another RoD foil selling! Wow, all these high-value cards are suddenly coming out of the woodwork.

Actually, I believe Maketplace is for conducting transactions, with other threads simply discussing values belong elsewhere.

I sure do feel the fool... I should have sold my AtAR foil instead of trading it off.

Well, the last one that went was only $39, so its hit or miss.

Actually, I believe Maketplace is for conducting transactions, with other threads simply discussing values belong elsewhere.
So basically: if I'm selling a card on eBay, it belongs in the Marketplace; but if I see someone else selling a card on eBay, it belongs in Bag End? You'd also have to bounce over "What's my card worth?" questions since some aren't transaction offers.

Makes more sense to me that if someone wants to buy a card or wants to know what it's worth, he'll head over to the forum where people are trading and selling.

I see your point, but I think that discussions like this very rarely go anywhere productive in gauging prices and usually end up turning into "look at that idiot selling stuff like that for that much" or "look at that idiot shelling out a fortune for nothing." Which belongs in Open LotR.

*changes title back to "eBay finds" to avoid creating a new thread*

These caught my eye: Simbelmyne foil for $1.25 BIN, The Balrog, Flame of Udun foil for $6.00 BIN.

I've noticed that some people on E-bay will sometimes put an uncommon or common card up for sale, then advertise it as "rare."  I think that they believe that these cards are really hard to get a hold of *giggle*, and therefore, are rare finds.  *snicker*  Either that, or they're just trying to con money out of people, but they usually aren't successful in this.

I'm keeping a list of prices that cards are going for on E-bay, just for future reference.

OBV i was the moron that sold it for that much. I was out of lotr for awhile then i got ahold of 50+ booster boxes that i opened up and lotr wasnt selling for much so i just figure to sell it as buy it now. obv now that i have a larger store with market research i can see that i sold it 49$ under what it goes for :(
live and learn.
Also my pictures rock so dont hate!
