elves are good at archery.... that's about it.  No, just kidding.  From sets 1-3 they can discard.  From all the sets they can archery, and a buddy of mine was real good at making skirmish event elf decks.  Those decks made me sick.  He would have about 5 elves, no possessions and ways to play elf skirmish events over and over and over again.

Yeah, elves tend to work with wounding, and strength bonuses vs. wounded minions.

Elves do have a high resistance and are good in healing. Further more, they are good in condition discarding and overwhelming minions.

which version of those comps?  The twins work good with skirmish events.  Actually, with arwen, celeborn and elrond from bloodlines along with the twins you could make a real mean skirmish event deck.  Use some bow possessions to give you a little archery but focus mainly on skirmish events.  it would be real neat.  I've never made a deck like that before, but it is very doable. Use woodland emissary from set 11, galadriel ring-bearer, the twins, and Celeborn, arwen, and elrond from set 13.  Along with 4 elven bows and legolas bow from set 11, and you'd have a 6 archery.  Then, use sword of the fallen as your comp possessions in addition to a ton of skirmish events.

I have a good deck using tokens, skirmish events, and Elrohir Elladan and Elven Armaments. Also use Cirdan. And Aragorn that uses elven tokens.

Concept works against my mates decks. Doubt it would work very well on GCCG, will need to be modified to play stronger players. Last payed this deck when i was playing several rules incorrectly (including add too much shadow from site 3 onwards but it seemed to survive ok even with the extra shadow). It was exclusively used in multiplay games, has 100 cards, and tended to deck itself. I mixed it with Uruk-Hai control battleground minions, but the deck is about the fellowship which messed up my mates shadow decks.

We played our own format, which is guess is closest to Open. We used all cards, and any sites cards from set 11 onwards. We had no banned or restricted cards, but no knowledge of fruit-loop decks. We also had no errata. We kinda gave up because of this deck, and also because i worked out the Rohirrim Horn follower deck.

Ringbearer - Galadriel BOW
Ring - The One Ring ATAR

Start
Elrohir SOE (Reduce cost of events and strength of minions using skirmish events)
Elladan SOE (Reduce cost of events and strength of minions using skirmish event)

Companions (we always used a fellowship pf nine)
Glorfindel EL (Remove threats - from Gil-Galad)
Elrond VL (Heal Elves)
Cirdan TS (Use discarded [Elven] events to reduce minion strength)
Aragorn DOFP (Use [Elven] tokens to reduce minions strength)
Naith Warband
Gil-Galad HKOTN (recycle events and conditions)

Artifacts
Nenya ROA (heal and recycle cards)
Galadriel's Silver Ewer (beef up Galadriel, reinforce tokens)

Possessions
4 x Elven Armaments (Didn't play this with it's errata, which weakens it a bit, but might still be good enough)
Asfaloth SB (Reinforce tokens and heal)

Followers
Woodhall Elf (to draw cards in fellowship phase)
Celebring ES (To get Galadriel's Silver Ewer)

Conditions
4 x Army Long Trained (not as good as it once was now that Elven Armaments has errata  :()
3 x Agility ([Elven] tokens)
3 x Strength of Arms ([Elven] tokens)
Shadow Between (Heal)

Events
4 x Alliance Reforged (draw cards - we did not use rule of four - whoops :) )
4 x Forearmed (hit and miss, but works well with expensive minions)
4 x Final Shot (deck is good enough to double move)
4 x Still Needed (to top of deck - awesome for end of game as last four cards are all still needed)
4 x Attunement (various cards set this up by placing cards on top of deck - cycles Still Needed to bottom of deck)
2 x Inside a Song (Recycle events and reinforce tokens)

Any advice anyone has to improve it let me know (like making it smaller). As well as anything I am doing wrong. Also, is it legal for Expanded? I am still a novice at building anything other than FOTR decks when working within the correct rules of the game.

@ket_the_jet
thanks for the suggestions sir, I still don't know what I'm doing. LOL. I found a copy of an elvent deck and that's exactly what I wanted to do. but it's going to be a tough time looking for some of the cards here in my country (we only got sets 1-14).. Dyou know anybody who ships to the RP?

@jdizzy
cool cool deck.. some of the cards are the same with my friends archery deck.. so I'm a li'l familiar with them..

I'm now having trouble looking for cards.. has anybody ever tried trading / doing business with someone from the Philippines?

Since I was working on my Elvent Deck for a very long time (and I'm still on it, but it's nearly impossible to get all these T&D cards...) there it is:

http://lotrtcgwiki.com/forums/index.php/topic,3796.msg45011.html#msg45011

I own the cards all in real ;) and I also have many cards that I decided to not playing them anymore. trading is the least problem, just tell me what you've got and we can work something out. (Btw, I hope you like stamps ;))
