Card game history: I played SWCCG from the beginning to the end, then took 5 years off to play LOTR, and then started playing SWCCG again with virtual cards (I even designed 2 virtual cards from winning TX events).  I have played LOTR from the beginning, but I really don't like much that Decipher did after Black Rider.

How did I get here: I used to lurk on Cobra Cards and then I lurked on LHH for a while.  I finally joined LHH when I sold all my Hunters block sets on eBay and wanted to advertise.  I have slowly become more active with posting in the trade forums and I finally downloaded GCCG today.

How long you been playing card games?
Since Overpower 1996. In Fact I still play Overpower and Battletech (Put out by Wizards) via other online programs. I have decks built and a clost full of cards: Overpower, Battletech, and LotR.  I used to play Vs when it was worth $$$ but sold all my players sets and foils in 2005 (still when the game was worth $$$)

I only have GCCG decks built for fellowship block.  I played competitivly through Origins of 2004 via the Decipher ELO rankings etc. but I really only enjoyed the flavor of the fellowship block format.

Thanks TheJord.  I have been at it since 2004.  Although tough, each job presents its own challenges.  Although mine is one I can truly feel that the community I live in is a little bit safer because of what I have been able to accomplish during the day. It makes pillowing my head a little bit easier at night.

Yes. I am a sports journalist. Mainly basketball. I am a beat writer in a newspaper and also do commentary for NBA and Euroleague games on TV. I write about Formula 1 too...

Well I used to play the game back in 2003-04. Then forgot about it. Last December while I was going thorough stuff I found my old cards. Around 8000 of them. I remembered how much fun I had. But there was noone to play with anymore. So I went online... Google and this is really the LAST homely house...

How long you been playing card games?
I played a tiny bit of Magic, Blue moon, Star Wars, Marvel and other stuff. None of them quite appealed to me. I played a lot of Magic in Microprose computer game though. LOTR is the only game I really got hung on.

What else do you do with your time?
Watch sports, read a lot. Travel. All linked to work actually. I read a lot for my work. Travel a lot for my work. And watch sports which is my work. A good occupation indeed.

Other than work related I enjoy reading fiction, watching documentaries and playing computer games. For the past 3 months all I play is LOTR on gccg though.
