My first day at GCCG
« on: May 16, 2010, 01:19:58 PM »
...well it took a while before I figured out how I could start up gccg, but at last I am there!

First match was against Muadib: Many thx for explaining most things:)
Was a big lost, but still fun, because I did get a good understanding of gccg.
2nd match: L3333 was not so lucky against my mono Frodo, who showed some extra comps in the end; I was lucky he discarded most of my deck, but not my extra comps: Sam, Boro and Aragorn, so I got away with a win.

Trd was against a besieger deck (don't remember the guy his name) and my Dauntless Hunter Smeagol deck still works in movie; even with Isengard men:)

So I had a fun first day! Thx again guys

You won with Isengard Men? I'm glad that you don't remember your opponent's name. He would be humiliated. :P

Maybe, but there are more people on this site who lost against my Isengard men... Some people who attended the amsterdam tournament in 2009. And it's worse if you play Gondor against my friends from Isengard... It scrubs big time:)

Lucky for me alot of people are playing the shadow that you used against me on gccg atm, so I've had some experience on how to deal with it. Very nice Free Peoples though, I liked it.

Glad to see you enjoyed your first day of gccg, hope to play against you many more times in the future.

I feel like this topic could be moved to The Green Dragon.

You should post that decklist right now in the movie block forum, otherwise I won't believe you unless you played against people who had a 1-10 W/L ratio (no offense to all the 1-10 people here). :P

that is the other isengard men deck:) I think you encountered my other variation (depends on which Freeps I play) and there are no trackers in there, but Isengard Orcs.

4x Desertion
3x evil smelling fens
4x captured by the ring
4x Agents of Orthanc
3x Grima, Wormtongue
1x Grima, SoD
4x Rohirim Traitor
1x Gollum, Slinker
2x Ulaire Enquea, lom
4x wounded
4x Unferth, Gb
3x Bill Ferny, SSF

Though... Trackers might be a nice idea.... for tt-block. Have to think about it. Btw the shadow isn't there to make a real kill. It's there to slow down. Decipher killed the option for this deck to be killing; they bannished a certain Palantir:( decipher were evil men and betrayers of this deck... grrrr :D

yeah, the problem with that deck is it can't kill, it can exert the heck out of everyone but it has 1 card that wounds, Enquea

It can swarm though

but that happens not often. Most important thing is to screw up somebody's deck.
