As uncut sheets are pretty rare, especially the rare ones, I consider it being at least 100 US$+ worth. Probably more.

Well ROTK Rare uncut sheet would be worth loads more then $100 US - but rolled into a tube?

You just halved your value offered by anyone on this site interested in buying it.

??

and how would you expect somebody to store an uncut sheet? they're almost always too expensive to frame, and how are you going to safely store a piece of cardboard that size away from water/heat damage?

i've got uncut sheets myself and they're all in a tube, except for one which is framed on my wall

I'm just curious (I don't expect you'll ever offer them), but which uncut sheets have you got? There aren't many on ebay and I don't know who else could have some of those...

I'm not sure how much a Return of the King rare uncut sheet is worth.  I have one framed that I won years ago at a tournament.  I also have the RoTK common uncut sheet too.  (Not framed)  I have been looking for the RoTK uncommon uncut sheet for years with no luck.  One day I hope to have all 3.  When I won these at the tournament I tried to buy the uncommon, but the person that won it would not sell it to me.

Uncut sheets are uncommon but when they come up on ebay, they usually don't sell for much.  I was lucky to find an uncut RotK rare foil sheet for about $40.  I think I have seen the common TT most often listed for around $30 and it usually doesn't sell.

Well each to their own IMO Hawkeye, but i know id not buy an uncut sheet if it was stored in a tube. The thing about owning a fairly mint set, makes me shudder when i think of cards rolled up and bending inside a tube.

That's pretty much how they're stored by everyone afaik. Nobody has room to store them safely any other way unless they're framed, and who has the money for that? How to the gaming companies bring them to the conventions? In tubes of course, and then when they set up the prize table, they take the appropriate sheets out of the tubes and lay them out.

I don't understand why you seem to think that uncut sheets are never rolled in a tube.

How much does it cost to frame something that size?

if you do it the cheap way, and if the sheet will fit (most won't), a 27x40 movie poster frame is in the $20 range, but if you want it to look nice (or if you're not lucky enough to have a sheet that will fit in a 27x40 frame), well, "you get what you pay for" seems to fit pretty well here, and custom framing is usually at LEAST $100.

We had some uncut sheets that our DAgent was given by Decipher for a PSQ or TOC or something many years back and Decipher mailed them to him rolled up in a tube.  I don't think I've ever seen an uncut sheet that wasn't rolled up in a tube.

From my point of view, tubes are essential for transportation etc.. but if I had an uncut sheet, $100.00 doesn't seem THAT bad to keep it mint forever and able to display.

I recently bought an uncut rotk rare sheet on ebay for cheap, no other bids but mine :)

Also, when I volunteered for Decipher at ComicCon, they presented Uncut Sheets from Rolled Tubes. Also the Lithographs they sold were in tubes. When they sent uncut sheets to PCs in the mail, it was in tubes. Every uncut sheet I've ever seen has come from a tube. Tube, tube, tube.

....tube.
