So you play Ever My Heart Rises with Dunharrow Plateau. Do you...

1) Take it out of your deck along with the top six cards,
2) Play EMHR, shuffle your deck, and then take the top six cards, or...
3) Look at the top six cards and then decide whether to shuffle or not, hoping your opponent doesn't ask questions? ;)

I always played it as option two. Did you do something differently because I shuffled before putting the top six on there.

I think option two as well.

But I guess Option 1 wouldn't hurt either anyway, both players will get to see the 6 cards....

I'd shuffle once I'm done searching through the draw deck, before EMHR is played. Or whenever, as long as it doesn't affect the game (e.g. stacking cards from the top of your draw deck before shuffling).

From a timing standpoint, wouldn't be option one?

-Play ever my heart rises from your draw deck
---preform when you play actions
-shuffle your draw deck

Or am I missing something?

Each time something allows you to play/take a card from your draw deck, you must shuffle your draw deck upon playing/taking a card. I think that as soon as the card leaves the draw deck in such a manner, shuffling must take place.

So you play Ever My Heart Rises with Dunharrow Plateau. Do you...

1) Take it out of your deck along with the top six cards,
2) Play EMHR, shuffle your deck, and then take the top six cards, or...

I never actually thought about it, but I played as option 2. There is really not much difference between option 1 and 2 as long as you don't cross the line to option 3. Even with option 3, it's still a gamble, but with a little tip.

Option 1 really is the one that makes sence as for gameplay technics and so on.

Quote from: CRD 4.0, on Draw Decks
Some cards allow you to play a card directly from your draw deck. You must still pay any costs and meet requirements necessary for playing that card. When you finish looking through it, reshuffle it and give the player to your right the opportunity to cut it.

I would think "when you finish looking through it" comes before "playing the card."
