Hey Guys
« on: February 03, 2011, 02:13:58 PM »
First time postin on here, ive been playing LoTR TCG since Ents of Fangorn came out, I have 2 decks, currently making three more, and want 2-3 more after that, but i ran into small problem, i need fellowship ideas. btw i play in open, using banned and restricted cards.
My current decks are

Rohan-Swarm
Dwarf-Straggler
Elf/Aragorn DOFP-Twilight Nazgul ----almost done
Ranger-Dunlund--- close to being done
Knight-Uruk site control-- half done

I want to make a deck using Hunter Uruk, Easterling burden and mayb new troll swarm, but have very few fellowship ideas, i plan to use gandalf ring bearer and new rohan cards, like Eomer, Northman and such, but then idk what else to use.  I dont want any more rohan, gondor or dwarf tank decks or elven archery and not fond of pure hobbit decks.

Anybody have any good ideas about ents? or gandalf culture? aragorn signet? or the add 2 to heal boromir, ranger choke (ugh to much gondor haha) or anything else? 9 walkers? i kinda want to abuse We Must Go Warily haha and would love to use Gondor Bowmen, but really dont want a pure gondor deck, so, ideas?  And thanks for reading guys!!!!

There are some pretty good decks posted in Lothlorien. Just search it a bit and I'm sure you'll find the deck lists you want in no time.

Best 3 hunters deck ever.  Of my few wins, well over half of them came from this deck!

hrcho- Yeah ive been looking around,  saw a couple nice ones!!!

jdizzy001--- I was talking about the newer 3 hunters, but after lookin at this one, im diggin it alot! just one question, for gimli's axe, ever get the threat things to work if your opponet wasnt added em, cuz i cant seem to figure out in this deck how to add threats (other than the sites of course), and if not, any good cards to add threats? becuase i'll play with fire and add em to get the Axe in full swing, pun intended.

Well, I'm guessing you will often play against opponents who will add some threats, mainly because Gollum and CbtR are very popular and could be implemented in most decks. Also, there is site 3, Hall of the Kings. I don't know what sort of site path you are using, but this deck was built for movie and all sites 3 from Return of the King can add threats and Hall of the Kings is the most popular.

The deck i posted was indeed intended for movie block, so Gimili's axe always worked.  Always!
For a post shadows deck look here

http://lotrtcgwiki.com/forums/index.php/topic,4478.0.html

or

http://lotrtcgwiki.com/forums/index.php/topic,2636.0.html

in the latter deck (I made it while i was still pretty niaeve) I would drop Faramir and focus more on making gimli and aragorn archers.  You could also do the slaked thrist preparations combo but then you'd have to change gimlis to protect the silly condition.
