I voted no, mostly because of Eomer. I find him too cheap for what he does. Standard 7/3 with a nice ability cost 3 (sometimes 2). Not 1. Even at 2 I find him rather cheap compared to other 7/3 like Imrahil and Boromir by example.

Tell me, in how many decks will you choose Eomer, Forthwith Banished over Third Marshal of Riddermark? Looking at things that way, Eomer, TmoR is a 2 cost companion with a lot of strength. Not very often will he be faced against 1 vitality minions and against anyone else, he gets a lot of power.

Also, as I already said in the discussion, there are not that many options available to you. You have to spot a [Rohan] Man, which is at least [2], play Eomer, Forthwith Banished and then you have [1] left. The only playable companion is either Merry or Pippin. That's it. That's his only strength.

Not to mention that Eomer, Forthwith Banished is a kitty-kat compared to Glorfindel and no one has a problem with him.

I'm not sure that this is the best place to argue the point; rather, vote and state your opinion, but discuss it elsewhere.

I'm for including new cards to play. Mainly boromir seems like a great idea.
However i voted no because of the bulk approach. I don't think any of those cards are OP. But some people like Kralik and Ringbearer have some issues with Eomer. I propose that we make a different voting process to address the possible problems with each card. It would take more time, but if we all keep on working, time wont be a problem.

PS: While i was writing this hrcho posted. I agree with him but i insist that the bulk approach isn't ver good. Even a vote for each card, or make a separate vote just for Eomer since it seems to be the only one prone to discussion

Do not be afraid to try stuff out (i.e. do some playtesting) guys.  We can talk forever about whether we think a card is just too OP, but if you never actually try it out, you're just guessing.  Nothing decided here has to be permanent anyway.  We can reevaluate things a few months down the road.

I voted "heck yes!" These promos were designed to be played in movie block so why not include them? Eomer is a bit tough but so is 9R+16.

They are additional cards bringing some flexibility to the game. None of them are overpowered... So i say bring on...

This poll closes in two days, but there have been no new votes for several days now. I think we need more votes and more people involved in this.

@Kralik: Could you please add a notification on GCCG about this poll and if needed, I'll add a few more days until the poll closes.

I vote yes. They were legal for tournament play back when movie block was standard, weren't they?

I vote yes. These cards offer more flexibility with deckbuilding combinations and aren't particularly overpowered.

I dont think they add much flexibility, as only Boromir is playable and Eomer is very strong. The other ones just dont do #$&*@!.

I guess the outcome will be play them, and if we see that nothing changes game-wise, no big deal.

If one of them breaks the game, which I doubt as none have a special ability for a loop, we can re assess then.
