Multiple Shadow Players
« on: August 16, 2011, 12:28:06 PM »
I don't know how extensive the rules are for having multiple shadow players, and we were wondering to what extent the "unique" rules apply. Here's what happened.

I played out the Throne of Isengard on one of my shadow phases. Then when it was my turn, my buddy played out his copy of the Throne of Isengard, since mine was not active. When it became the 3rd person's turn, Saruman (I don't remember which one, but he could fight) came out, and brought out Pallando Decieved. Is this legal, and if so, do the Wizards get double bonus from the Throne of Isengard, or does only one come into effect (It does say each wizard).

Also, another one of my buddies said that each shadow player can have a copy of each unique minion on the field. So for example, there could be a Lurtz on the field for each shadow player. Can anyone verify?

Only one of the copies of Throne of Isengard is active.

Also, you can only have one copy of a unique minion out total. So if Shadow Player 1 plays Lurtz, Shadow Player 2 cannot play him.

The same goes for non-unique cards too, in that you can only have 4 total in play. None of that 12 Tower of Barad-dur madness or anything. Well techincally, there can be 12 out, but only 4 active at one time haha.
