Apparently the Tengwar Saruman translates to:

Wow, now that was some lazy on Decipher's part, but it's not like we were supposed to expect quality work after RotK, right?

I actually pulled out my WotR Anthology set just to check it out for myself.

It's fairly easy, actually. Go ahead, seach the web. I bet you can learn it in about... what? 2-3 hours, tops? Then, just having a printout with the symbols to look up if you forget one will do, and you'll be writing in Tengwar in no time! Now, to find a use for it...

Yeah, it's not a great ice-breaker, don't try it when you're just getting to know each other. But considering she used to walk with a copy of The One Ring (which I gave to her, cute story also) in her wallet, it wasn't that much of a stretch. And I also had three other female friends of mine that learned it by herself to switch notes with me, so that makes 4 that didn't think it was THAT nerdy. ;)
However, what strikes me as the most odd is that no one even noticed the tombstone part...
