elf telepathy strategy
« on: November 05, 2012, 12:29:27 PM »
I built myself an elf telepathy deck. Firstly, it is very fun. There isn't really anything special about it… yet. I have an idea I am going to work with here in a bit and once I make the changes I will post the deck list.

Now, my question. Has anyone built the deck using Galadriel, keeper of Nenya from set 6? Most of the decks I have seen use her as the RB. However, I thought it may be nice to use keeper of nenya. Any thoughts or experience with this?

She can be good in TTT telepathy, but not much beyond that. Even in TS there are typically better choices.
Elrond, KoV on the other hand I think is a very under-used card, particularly in a deck using greenleaf. I think you could get some fun archery options with elrond, greenleaf, galadriel rb with a bow, atar, and splendor of their banners, and master of healing
No one loves you like I do.

LOL that would be awesome! You should build a deck with it.

In your opinion, what would be a better option than keeper of nenya? Right now i am running Galadriel RB (I posted the deck here: http://lotrtcgwiki.com/forums/index.php/topic,8234.0.html ) and I have a 1-0 win record with it right now, but if I could use say arwen fair maiden and replace the trees with keeper of nenya could it be "better?"

No.
Basically what the bad thing about Keeper is, that it DISCARDS a card. You want to set up a card on top and reuse it with forearmed by example. Also the ringbearer galadriel has the atvantage she can use the many pump spells. If you add a non-elf RB you will dilude the deck with protection cards. The only galadriel you could ever consider is lady Redeemed, just cause she destroys corsairs and moria.
