Second Edition Update!
« on: December 19, 2012, 11:21:44 AM »
Here is where we are with Second Edition so far:

We have 234 completed cards that are in the process of being templated. The completed cultures so far are Isengard, Dunland, Dwarven, Elven, Gandalf, Ringwraith and Shire. The Fallen Realms, Sauron, Rohan and Moria cultures are currently in the design process and should be complete relatively soon.

Once all the cultures are complete, we will then develop 40 to 50 sites. All told, I expect this Core Set to range anywhere from 400 to 430 cards.

With that said, I regret to announce that we've decided Gollum culture will NOT be included in the Core Set. The reasons are threefold:

1) We wanted to give you guys something to look forward to
2) Gollum just feels more like an expansion culture than a base culture
3) We just don't have a design concept for the culture that we're comfortable with yet

Once the Core Set is released, we will begin work on the following expansions:

- Flight to the Ford
- A Journey in the Dark
- Farewell to Lorien

So there are big things going on! I'm also strongly considering moving game discussion to a forum on my own hosted domain, since I can't seem to get in touch with Kralik to create a sub-forum here. I hate to do that, but this project really needs it's own dedicated forum. Stay tuned for more news on that front.

I agree, having a dedicated forum would be best, especially that due to mail system malfunction on TLHH, new players cannot sign up to it.
New/old way to play Lord of the Rings online.
Give Gemp-LotR a try.
All sets are finished
