Actually....

I think GoG is right. I'll protect Dain, though. (which is actually what I was trying to say in an amusing RP manner anyway ;))
Forget it. I'm not arguing with the computer anymore to try to get the sig I want....

The arrests of both Felipe Musco and AgentDrake are incorrect.

My, my, my. Three black marks already. Perhaps you should wait for some real clues to be dropped before wasting your arrests.

Drake is correct - DainIronfoot is my intended victim.

The Seventh of Seven refers to the seventh card of the seventh set - Gimli, Feared Axeman. Which is conveniently Mr. Ironfoot's avatar.

The DC post was also a clue. The [Dwarven] companion "Iron Guard" refers, obviously to Mr. Ironfoot also.

Aperson77? Come now. Do you honestly think I'd be that simple? I'm insulted. People who insult me tend to die.

Congratulations. Perhaps I must step up my game to deal with such a formidable foe as Mr. Drake.

So, what do you say, Drake?
Shall we Dance? To the Death?
Step with me, Drake! Oh, to Die
Will be such a great adventure!
So come out! Let justice be Done upon you!
But be sure to have the proper footwear.

You have until tomorrow.

Alright, well, after rushing Dain to the hospital for a broken nose, the immediate potential target that comes to mind is ES.

Ellessar - "So come out! Let justice be Done upon you!"
Socks - "But be sure to have the proper footwear."

Seems potentially too obvious, though, especially that last line.
I've also got someone off the Members list... Trooper. First thing that comes to mind there is a soldier... "Oh, to Die / Will be such a great adventure!"
And what is associated with the Army, if not Army Boots? Massive stretch, I know, but those are the only two I can come up with

I protect ellessars socks, that makes sense.
Felipe Musco:
(after all, it's a CHARITY organization, I still have SOME principles, even having gone through Law School... :P),
Elf Lvr:
Bit of a scrawny Iowan kid with an unhealthy artifact obsession. Oh, and a God of Spam. In a good way.

There's this, too, which makes me wonder if maybe the assassin is dangling ES in front of us in order to target someone else... SoP, maybe, for protecting ES, but that risks that we derail his plans by thinking ES is far too obvious to protect... Or maybe me for being the first to point out ES...

Or maybe it's entirely irrelevant. I tend to think it's irrelevant, so I'll wait before I protect anyone, see if anything else comes up.

EDIT: Alright, I got nothing. I protect SoP.

Maybe the third black mark is a tire track Incognito found on the freeway. :o However it looks like AD is cleared... *chokes back my disappointment as I'm forced to share my snacks* :(

The 's' is capitalized 4 times (each time at the start of a sentence), and the 'd' 6 times, which are unusually high.

What know we of this despondent thing
No sign no sound no tranquil ring
We try to tell its quantity
yet fail to see the point
Only one can know of it
to this eternal joint
We have not power in Use
To hold this creature bay
But only wait for it to change
Inside the soul of it we lay

Yes, ES was my intended target. It makes me sick to think how fast my clues have been unraveled.

GarrisonofGondor: Your arrest of NBarden was incorrect. Which, by the way, is where the third black mark came from.

Now, however, everything is going according to plan.

Someone will soon die - but I suspect none too many tears will be shed over his passing.

Tomorrow.

...So much for spending an hour trying to crack a non-existent code, unless there's also an identity clue in there. *LOL*

Looking over the member list, there are some people who signed up but never posted, people who posted but were irritating to no end, and... huh, Gillian/Gillian2? Dunno.
