Nowhere. "but I suspect none too many tears will be shed over his passing" is all I see to work with.
That and "everything is going according to plan." neither one seems to helpful, so I'm protecting llama, since who really cares if he dies?

(which, of course, begs the question... why protect him at all?)
Forget it. I'm not arguing with the computer anymore to try to get the sig I want....

Someone with no eyes?  No eyes, no tears.  Just a thought as I read over this thread.  I'll go away now.
There are only 10 kinds of people in the world.  Those who know binary and those who don't.
You don't have a backpack. What you have there is an invisible leather TARDIS.

Well, that's a lot of self-confidence you got there, Lurtzy.

I keep coming back to Incognito, but... guess not.

I'll protect Gillian2, since if one "duplicate" is offed, the other (same person) is still there.

Maybe urstinkenface or NotASpamBot, unless you've got other ideas. I was thinking the entire phrase might've been lifted off a movie or something, but so far no luck there.

Three of our beloved coppers - GarrisonofGondor, Mr. Lurtzy, and Elessar's Socks - were sitting around the desk in the police station when they heard the sound of screeching tires. They rushed out the front door to see a large, unmarked white van screaming down their street. As it passed, the back hatch opened and a brightly-colored box fell out. ES had time to put two rounds in the door - then it was gone.

At first glance, the box appeared to be nothing more than a mere magician's novelty - a person-sized box with eight swords stuck in the sides. Something was wrong about this box, however... perhaps it was the blood oozing from the holes?

Knowing full well what they would find, they opened the box and saw...

The body of SickofPalantirs, skewered eight times. There was a bullet hole through his forehead.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Agent Drake, however, had happened upon my trail. He followed down back streets and alleyways, gun at the ready, eyes darting from side to side.

Suddenly, a twang sounded from behind him, and he quickly ducked and turned. An arrow whistled over his head and buried itself in the wall behind him. He saw for a moment a masked, cloaked figure before him, crossbow held in it's hand. He managed to register a few features of this figure before it turned and ran back around another corner. Drake knew how foolish it would be to pursue an armed enemy into an unsecured area, and turned to inspect the arrow behind him. There was a note wrapped around its shaft. It read:

Hello, Agent Drake, my nemesis! And all you fellow law-breakers as well! Aha!
I hope you have enjoyed the first act of my show - though it took me ever so long to get started!
However, I must hurry on to the next clue. The second act is about to begin, and I'm getting to the end of my rope!
First, I must assure you that the swords are important, and must be considered before anything else.
Next, there is a letter that appears 24 times in this note. Remember it well!
Finally, my favorite number today is six2.
I do hope I don't run out of volunteers that quickly. The show must go on!

Aha!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Agent Drake returned to the station with the clue. He also told the other officers the things he noticed about the masked figure in the alley:

1. The figure was definitely male.
2. The figure was neither tall, nor short.
3. The figure was cloaked in indiscriminate shades of gray.
4. The mask only covered half a face. The other was obscured in shadow.
5. The hood hid details such as hair length and color.
6. Above the hood, oddly enough, rested a top hat.

Very vague and useless details, but a description of the villain nonetheless.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The clue, I must admit, was fairly vague - but the message was meant to be subliminal. This style did not come from a movie, ES, but a book, and one of my favorites.

Quote
Yes, ES was my intended target. It makes me sick to think how fast my clues have been unraveled.

GarrisonofGondor: Your arrest of NBarden was incorrect. Which, by the way, is where the third black mark came from.

Now, however, everything is going according to plan.

Someone will soon die - but I suspect none too many tears will be shed over his passing.

I hoped that at least the last two lines would clue you in. The last line, however, meant no disrespect to our deceased policeman - though there are some that still speak of him as the most infamous spammer of this site. The word "tears" was simply more useful than "tiers."

You have your clue. 2 days.

"I'm getting to the end of my rope" sounds a little forced (just like "sick," and that DID make me think of SoP! blargh!). Does a character in a TV show or book infamously "aha"? That's reminding me of one episode of... Family Guy or Futurama (can't remember exactly), where someone said that at the end of practically every line.

I count the letter 'h' appearing 24 times in that message, although I haven't checked the rest of the alphabet.

That's Family Guy, I believe "Mr. Griffin Goes to Washington", when Speed Racer and his father make an appearance.

"Aha! The Griffin Family is going to Washington! Aha!"
"Aha! That does not concern us at all! Aha!"

Now what could it mean?
