Whats it worth to you?

Hey Guys,

New to this forum.
I have an entire collection of LOTR TCG im looking to sell along with im sure loads of multiples of a lot of cards.

Would people here recommend selling the set as a whole? Or break it down into individual sets? Obviously i understand the earlier ones not many people have an interest for, but id love to see the entire collection go to a good home.

Were talking complete Mint condition sets including the foil version sets. Also all the RF and O foils in the later sets.
All the 0P and 0D* cards too.
Including most if not all the reprinted cards, miss prints, test cards, card lists, over sized cards. A couple signed cards also.

Like i said its the works! But unfortunately time for a new home.

Break it down into individual sets. Regular and foil version, too. Promos are bit more difficult. Divide them into lots, but some promos are worth enough to list them individually. Sold listings on ebay are your best indicator. Miscellaneous stuff either one by one or as lots.

If I had the funds I would be interested in any Movie Block foils you have, but I am almost 100% positive that you expect more for them than I can offer. If my hunch is wrong, please contact me.

BTW, I would list all the sets not as $1 auctions but as BIN's with the option to make an offer. The market has shrunken so much that selling on ebay has become a lottery.

Ill give it some thought, appreciated. Shame there is a small market for them i guess as im trying to sell.
But mostly id have loved to keep the entire collection in tact.

eBay is indeed a lottery nowadays. I got a full set 1-11 plus some cards extras, plus foils, plus promos for 63€ shipped and another that was a almost complete playset (each card 4x) of 1-14 plus around 500 foils plus promos, plus decks for 500€ shipped.

It really depends on what you're offering. But it indeed is a buyer's market. Do the sets, promos and foils separatly. I don't think there's a market for oversized cards anymore. Most are after foils these days. Scour eBay what the cards go for (filter sold listings) and work from there. It's a lot of work to get the info as detailed as possible. Nobody likes to buy a cat in the bag.

I am interested in Hunters, Wraith Collection, Rise of Saruman and Treachery and Deceit as well as some P/D foils.

Well if i had to break it down it def be sold as sets, i dont think id separate a set to sell off a couple of foils.
IE: If your looking for Hunters, then id be selling the entire Hunters set. Reg Cards, RF and O's together.
