Before we do anything ..... Do we really think it is possible to setup a community based PC without actual leadership? In other words, just those of us that are interested in a PC discussing and gradually moving towards a more concrete plan. It is really hard to do this via the message boards, we have been trying for some time. If this is possible, we can continue on the same path we currently follow - but be prepared for more criticism.
I would favour this, but if you take the histry in mind it would be better to candidate and vote for the person who's responsable to communication to Decipher.
I still think we should contact Startrek PC and copy their organization and fill in the positions/responsabilities.
My English aint good enough for communications with Decipher. So if TheJord or C1G.com is interested to contact then my vote would go to one of them.
Still I also have a few questions for Decipher if they grant us to be the legal lotr-pc:
1 Are we allowed to make virtual sets
2 If we are allowed under which conditions.
3 If we are allowed will it be legal to produce those cards ourselves as prize-support for real life tournaments (via internet or via regular tournaments), probably under some conditions, i.e.: that we don't sell them and that they are only meant for our community, etc.
Other remark: I think we should offer Decipher free advertising on the lotr-pc website.
Also another question arise in my mind:
4 Does Decipher has plans with the Hobbit.
5 If so would it be comaptible to lotr
6 If so would it be an idea to have the lotr-pc involved in some ways.
Also:
7 What would pc be allowed about altering the lotr crd.
8 Are we allowed to create new formats (for example: If we are allowed to make virtual sets then it would be handy to create a new format apart from current formats).
9 Decipher had planned another 2 sets, but due to losing the license they never came out. Did Decipher already made some rough scetches ideas for cards for those sets. and if so would they be willing to share those ideas, etc.
