See, I've heard differently, I've heard good and bad about it. It seems to be a more streamlined system, for one, and it seems to have changed the nature of combat to less of a simulation and more of a tactical game. In my mind, that seems fun. I've also heard about skill challenges, one of the other major additions, and those also sound like an interesting improvement.

An example of streamlining is the fact that they don't use levels for Skills any more. You're either trained or you aren't, in a skill. That gives you bonuses or penalties, accordingly.

Overall, I have heard positive things about it. I can't tell for sure, but I figure I should enjoy it. Especially since the biggest principle seems to reflect the ideas behind TCGs: put the rules on the cards. The basic rules are far more simple, and then you add in rules according to your class and the Powers that you choose for combat.
