Secondary, perhaps. Sounds a little sterile; no real flavor to it.
I figure that you could have 
Dagger and May be borne in addition to 1 other hand weapon co-exist, so long as there was something else special about daggers. Ie, other cards referencing them. That way, something like 
Flaming Brand wouldn't end up as a "Dagger" and it wouldn't really screw around with the whole "use keywords anytime they would be used" because burning someone's face off with a 
Flaming Brand shouldn't be the same as stabbing them with a dagger.

While bearer is not a hobbit, this weapon gains

And vwa-la! Dagger works after all!
