What SW/LotR Culture Is Next?
« on: May 15, 2008, 04:14:12 PM »
Okay, so the adventure path is looking pretty good for now. I'm working on the Mandalorian culture now, which means it's time to vote on a "neutral" culture. Now, both Fringe and Wild Space are true neutral cultures (having both Light Side and Dark Side cards), but I went ahead and included Creature in this poll. Even though it's all Dark Side, it feels right to lump it into this vote.

Fringe culture focuses on smugglers, bounty hunters, gangsters, and other vagrants. Wild Space is all about those races found beyond the borders of the various galactic governments. Chiss, Ssi-ruuvi Imperium, and so on.

Cultures voted on in the past:
[Men] Mandalorian Culture (vote for on May 30)
(W) Adventure Path (voted for on May 18)
[Gandalf] Jedi Culture (voted for on CobraCards)

You put it as an option... if you didn't want votes for it than don't list it.

Haha yup. But force-sensitivity isn't the only requisite for being the Apprentice (Ring-bearer). Each character must also have been in a position of destined training (Anakin being found on Tatooine, Luke being mentored by Obi-Wan and Yoda, and a few more listed below). Using this system, characters like Aayla Secura and Qui-Gon Jinn cannot be Apprentices, just supporting companions.

Here's the current list I've got for Apprentices: Luke, Leia, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Bastila Shan, and Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin Solo. There's pretty much no limit to who can become an Apprentice, but it should be focused towards the main characters of large story arcs.
