"Article" on MtG/LotR
« on: November 03, 2008, 01:04:20 PM »
I've been wanting to post this before the end of CC for quite some time, but it was hard to write it. But now, it's finally done. Since I don't have a specific place to post it, I posted it in the Dominaria section, but here is a link to it.

Btw, I stupidly forgot to point out that the article tries to teach a bit about MtG, relating it to LotR when possible, so those who want to learn a bit to try and pick up the game could benefit from it. Yeah, now that about does it.

This might have helped when I was making the transition from LotR to MtG. Maybe.

Anyways, I don't think the removal of allies or the changing of the site path killed the game at all. I wasn't a serious FotR player, so I don't have much room to argue, but RotK didn't do anything bad for me, either.

But heck, I'm one of those people who are okay with the Hunter mechanic. I really think D screwed up around RoS and then on T&D and AE. But it probably did start long before that.
Happy Hunting!
