I'd pact Nameless Inversion as removal, since Wort can make an engine out of it. I'd also pact 1-2 copies of Goblin King, tops, and invest in Mad Auntie. Lose Bannerets and play with that one that removes cards from their library (forgot its name and can't search from here, sorry). I'd also pack a 3rd Siege-Gang, it's just that good. And play Thoughtseize, so you can get rid of annoying stuff. Rise of the Hobgoblins is a safety net, it's ok to play with 1 copy only. Terror might be needed, and SOME burn (Shard Volley and Flame Javelin come to mind). I'd lose Refletcing Pool (or play less copies) and some basics for painlands and Graven Cairns, and 2 Ghitu Encampment.

Well...I was thinking that since Goblin Assault was forcing all my creatures to attack anyways, my creatures would be getting killed or attacking out of control. So they'd be smashing face massively, and Grave Pact would be killing their creatures, minimizing the need for removal.

It does. You do not need to run a full set, but losing creature types MIGHT be useful, and also, it's TARGETED removal, which is nothing to sneeze at. Not to mention it's REPEATABLE targeted removal, due to Wort.
