Welcome to Fill in the Blank Season 1: Lairs! Each week I'll post the collector's information for one of the cards in the set's card-list.
Contestants are free to create whatever card they see fit for that slot in the card-list, keeping in mind the surrounding cards. As the contest progresses, the card-list will become more and more defined, guiding the contestants' choices.
The theme of our set is Lairs! You're free to interpret this however you want.
Not every card has to fit the theme, of course, but it's something to keep in mind when coming up with entries.
Each week a poll will go up for the previous week's entries. Simply vote for one you like the most. In the event of a tie, I'll let a random result generator make the decision.
Last week's winner...Congratulations to, err, me and
Wrested Kingdom for becoming the first card in the set - now let's get some more names onto the scoreboard!
Last week's entries to pick from for Card #20...

Maneuver or Regroup: Exert a or minion to discard a card at random from the Free Peoples player's hand for each Shadow culture you spot. Discard this condition.
•Bag End Hearth

Each time you discard a pipeweed possession, you may spot a companion and choose one of the following signets: Frodo or Gandalf. The spotted companion gains the chosen signet until the end of the turn.
Fellowship: Discard this condition to play a or pipe from your draw deck.
‘"Among the Wise I am the only one that goes in for hobbit-lore: an obscure branch of knowledge, but full of surprises."'
Tookishness
Condition
Strength +1 Vitality +1 Resistance +1
Tale. Bearer must be Bilbo, Merry or Pippin (or a Took). Limit 1 per bearer.
Skirmish: If bearer is not assigned to a skirmish, play a event to have bearer replace an unbound companion in a skirmish.
"Then something Tookish woke up inside him, and he wished to go and see the great mountains, and hear the pine-trees..."
Designer's notes:
Expensive like Stone Trolls, it's meant to be an opposite of Escape (engaging them in more peril instead of fleeing from it). "Took" is obviously an unloaded keyword to allow the inclusion of Gerontius, Bandobras and other celebrated Tooks in a shorter way. Merry can bear it too as nephew of Paladin Took, 31th Thain of the Shire (Pippin's father); Frodo too had Took blood, but his adventurous ancestry was clearly dead inside him.
This week's contest is...Card #2!Just about anything goes this week, but the result of Card #2 will undoubtedly cut one (or several?) cultures from the set... which might be really interesting! I say don't hold anything back! But in case you wanted to know all your options, here ya go:
