Bid 1. In Expanded, that'll usually get you to go first. If you win, go first and play
Dammed Gate-stream. Use it to pull
Follow Smeagol, and use that for site maipulation. Abuse the heck out of
Not Easily Avoided, even if you have good freeps cards in hand. You'll pull most of them back with
Incited and
Pitiable Guide. Note: the only time you don't use
Not Easily Avoided to set up is if you have
Sting, Weapon of Heritage. That is important. The shadow is a more flexible variant of Ninja Gollum, and the goal is to corrupt or kill, by strength or by wounding.
Stinker and
Incited/Nasty, Foul Hobbitses will get burdens fast, and wound prevention will be useless agains Gollum with
Slippery as Fishes and
Chasm's Edge out.
This deck may only have a 70 or 80% win rate, but it is more fun than basic hobbits or Ninja Gollum. I will post replays.
