Cycling Tales - Besiegers
« on: December 29, 2021, 09:42:09 AM »
So the first thing that I will say is: don't verbally murder me for playing besiegers. Other than that, this is a fairly unplayed deck that I've grown fond of.

Ring-bearer: Bilbo, Bearer of Things Burgled
Ring: The One Ring, Such a Weight to Carry

Adventure deck:
Dunharrow Plateau
West Road
Hall of the Kings
City of the Dead
Crashed Gate
Minas Tirith Second Circle
Osgiliath Crossing
Morgul Vale
Dagorlad

Free Peoples Draw Deck:
3x Durin III, Dwarven Lord
1x Gimli, Feared Axeman
1x Gloin, Friend to Thorin
1x Linnar, Dwarven Lord
2x Sam, Son of Hamfast
1x Axe of Erebor
1x Dwarven Armor
2x Dwarven Axe
4x Dwarven Bracers
1x Gimli's Battle Axe, Trusted Weapon
1x Gimli's Helm
4x Hand Axe
2x Hobbit Sword
4x Red Book of Westmarch
1x Ring of Fury
1x Ring of Guile
1x Ring of Retribution
2x Blood Runs Chill
3x Flurry of Blows
2x Beneath the Mountains
1x Ever My Heart Rises
1x Greatest Kingdom of My People
1x Here Is Good Rock
4x Mines of Khazad-Dum
2x Song of Durin
3x Till Durin Wakes Again
2x Consorting With Wizards

Shadow Draw Deck:
3x Gorgoroth Agitator
4x Gorgoroth Assassin
2x Gorgoroth Berserker
2x Gorgoroth Keeper
3x Gorgoroth Pillager
2x Gorgoroth Sapper
3x Gorgoroth Soldier
2x Gorgoroth Swarm
3x Gorgoroth Troop
4x Great Hill Troll
1x Sauron, The Lord of the Rings
2x Troll of Gorgoroth, Abomination of Sauron
3x Siege Troop
2x Grond, Hammer of the Underworld
1x Ithil Stone
2x Din of Arms
1x Encirclement
1x Great Peril of Fire
4x Great Siege-towers
3x Their Marching Companies
2x Tower Walkway
2x Troop Tower

The shadow is a fairly typical besieger build, however the top priority is to get a site with Gorgoroth Pillager on it, then beat down with a bunch of fierce besiegers. The fellowship's goal is to cycle and tank, it can pretty much take anything thrown at it.

It turns out you CAN simply walk into Mordor.
