1) 5 (I LOVE the flavour of this card, I just think it's so AWESOME and the person that made this card made me green with envy!)
2) 3 (I think it's a fantastically fun strategy to build a deck around. Not sure about the flavour, but I think the concept is seriously cool.)
2) 7 (again great flavour, but it just didn't jump at me like the others did.)

There were others pretty close as well. I quite like some of these cards! ;)

1st - 7 (Love the way it captures the feel of relentless persuit while reinforcing the cross culture element)
2nd - 5 (Solid card like the way it helps you 'catch up' which was the whole theme of the 3 hunters in the story.)
3rd - 9 (Good card, gets quite good if you meet all the requirements)

Since im new to the boards i just found this contest but i enjoyed reading it.  Might even try to submit something myself next round if thats alright.

Great! Joining the contest is no problem, just send me your card before the deadline! This is an open contest, you can drop in and out any time. But the winner at the end will be decided by cumulative point-scoring.

Thanks for your vote! :gp:

As for the rest of you slackers, you've only got 2 days left to submit 4 votes between you! :P

Yes, yes, lem0n, I was just getting to it! :P

First things first. The winners of the last round were:

1) lem0nhead (#5)
2) m64 (#7)
3) elf_lvr (#9)

So I encourage everyone to give them some :gp: as we move into the next round.

I was really not sure which cards to post for this round. I knew that we were going to touch on [Isengard] Men, but I couldn't decide which part of the strategy was worse, the useless minions or the overly specific conditions. In the end, I decided on conditions (as you can see) but I couldn't decide which one to make the subject of the round because a lot of them are not great. So I'm giving you a choice of 2 and you can make 1 of them. Your choice is between:

Just to restate the rules, your chosen card should:

1) Have the same title (with a (V) attached to the end)
2) Have the same twilight cost and culture
3) Have whatever attributes or attribute modifiers you think appropriate
4) Have a different text, maybe similar, but could also be on completely different lines. These cards can obviously be events or conditions and I don't want to tie you down to any specific strategy so [Isengard] Men are not necessary. They don't have to play on companions, just let your imagination flow! 8-) One thing I will be specific about, though, is that these cards should NOT be limited to Men (or any other race for that matter) as the originals were.
5) Have a lore which you want, it's really up to you - you can keep the same lore or put in your own, it doesn't really matter.

So your card should look a bit like this:

(0) Card Title (V) [Isengard]
Type • Sub-type
Str: +A
Vit: +B
Res/Sit: +C
Text
Lore
4 V XXX

Your entries should be PMed to me before Wednesday 18th, so you've got just under a week.

Remember this is still an open contest, so as long as you send me your card by the deadline (regardless of how many rounds you have entered in the past), you will have entered the contest and I will post your card with the others.

Good luck!
