Maneuver Wounding

First post in MANY years. I've been playing this deck with mixed success, but many of my losses come down to my own poor play trying to see if I can get the shadow to win when I probably should just run for it. The idea is simple:

Freeps: The idea is to play Gandalf as your starting fellowship, if you go first, you get aragorn out, if not, no sweat, I usually go second anyways. The creeps cycles a ton, so you can get some comps with a few possessions to survive. The fellowship is really scrappy actually. not great at double moving, but difficult to kill.

The fun part is in the shadow. The whole idea is to exert and wound in the maneuver phase before your opponent gets a chance to use archery to kill you. Many decks are focused around gandalf or aragorn, so there are a couple of surprises for them. after that it is really about using the uruk side to exert the fellowship and the sauron side to snipe them with hate. The main problem decks are the ones that just cycle through companions without any real cohesive strategy. at that point it becomes difficult to add enough wounds to take anyone down. this deck is about timing, getting the right combos to kill key companions.

I'm open to suggestions, the main thing on the shadow side that I have not used much are the 2x relentless charge. but i don't hit archer that much. i keep them in to screw up a green leaf or aragorn with aragon's bow, but i'm thinking of dropping one for another motion as there are a LOT of event cards in this deck.

This... is an actually cool Fellowship Block deck.

I like the concept of maneuver wounding for a shadow, I've never seen anything quite like it.

I actually just tweaked it and made the three little sauron orcs all trackers so i can use Tol Brandir to pull back trackers at site 9. I was running into an issue where i went through my whole deck and didn't have enough minions. This way, if I can pull off a couple key kills at sites 8 and 9, there is enough minion power to get a couple trackers on the ring bearer. Worked out well and was the key factor in winning the first time i used it.

I would also recommend a copy or two of Ulaire Nertea, Messenger of Dol Guldur. He can pull any minion back with enough companions, and could give a surprise Enquea if they have 6 comps/5 burdens.

I did originally have merges, but never used him so dropped him for cantea. I'm still doing a little tweaking though, to both sides, I'll post an update when I've got the final version and then I'll post a replay. I've been having some hand jams lately so I might slim down to 33 per side especially since I have some options for bringing trackers back at site 9.
