27 lands?!?!?! Yup. Rocks, doesn't it?
The point of the deck is to accelerate with Mind Stones and Obelisks and begin slapping down retraceables. You've got a nice toybox of retrace stuff, and everytime you retrace, you get Kelpie. Oona's Grace to draw 2? Or funner still, late game retrace Spitting Image for Kelpies = massive massive card advantage. The deck never gets mana screwed, loves to get mana flooded, and almost never gets color-screwed. Mulldrifters are there for some mannequin and Spitting Image fun. In long, drawn out matches, I've been able to Call the Skybreaker, Spitting Image for 2 5/5 Elemental tokens and then next turn attack and Waves of Agression. I'm thinking of actually adding more Waves of Agression to the deck. I played it vs a planeswalker deck, he wrathed the board and had his planeswalkers close to going off. I had an elemental and a pair of mulldrifter, then went Waves of Agression to shred his 5 planeswalkers (life was too high to take down that turn).
