hey guys, i've just recently gotten my waterfoul hunting license!!! and i'm going goose hunting tomorrow!!! does anyone else like goose or duck hunting? are there any tricks of the trade?

Shouldn't it be "Geese!!!"? :P Well, seeing as hunting is forbidden in my country, I have no advice to give to you, except maybe: listen to Bugs, he'll get you in range for a clean shot at Daffy in no time! :D

some use bows, but i don't have a bow. and my friend almost used his rifle the other day. lol. but yes, shotguns it is!

Cool I have never been hunting but I sure would like to go. Enjoy yourself and know that you are furthering a noble cause.(also known as eradicating those darn Gooses lol)

My dad still hunts all the time: waterfowl, upland game birds, deer...you name it. I used to go with him pretty frequently, but haven't had much opportunity since mid-way through college. :-| I miss it.

Never got a deer myself, which is something I definately have to rectify at SOME point in my life. I'm a very good shot, actually, but the opportunity never presented itself when deer hunting. Bagged lots of birds, though...mostly ducks, geese, pheasants, and quail, along with the occasional rabbit and squirrel. The toughest are probably quail and rabbits...fast little buggers! :)'

I HAVE been able to go out to shooting ranges a few times since then and keep up my accuracy. STILL a good shot with sidearm, rifle, or shotgun. ;) I just need to apply them to the outlet God intended and hunt again. Maybe next season....

Shot two squirrels already this season, but haven't had any luck with deer.
