Do any of you guys know about/play Heroscape the board/tabletop strategy. I do and enjoy it immensely.

I have a LOT of Heroscape figures. I do think it's fun, but it just takes too darned long to set up that my friends dislike it.

Yeah, I play. Great fun, but it does take a lot of time to set-up. You want a linky?

Me neither,  but I pretty much like any strategy board game. I always try to get my family to play risk or chess or something but they always refuse me.

chess is the absolute purest strategy game there is. period. no dice, no chance, no set-up, no luck, no hidden anything. just pure strategy.

I know! That's why I love it.
Speaking of chess, I have this friend that will never accept defeat in a chess game because he always beats me. So one day we're in math class together and we decided to play chess, when the bell rings I have my: king, 2 bishops, 2 ponds, and a rook. he has his: knight, pond, and king. Who wins? Or is it a tie?(I hate those words)

Its really quite the opposite for me all my friends love it but me not so much don't get me wrong its fun to play but there's to much luck for my personnel taste. What with the dice and all.

yeah I've played it. I've played 4 games at my friendds house, he owns it. I won 3 (or maybe it was 5, I've won 4.)
once i only had 3 guys left to his 6, he killed 1, than I converted 2 of his. I won.

hUh, cool. I've been making my own trading cards since I was a kid. Everything about them intoxicated me. So one day I made a set of cards called Brimstone wars, and I would make tons of them, if I came up with the slightest change to a character that I made I would add it and make more cards. So Eventually, It got to where I needed assistance in handle ling these cards (not really I just wanted to make a company). I split the cards with 2 other guys who where into ugio cards and that was it. they started selling the cards one by one and not in separate packages that I made. Plus I didn't want to sell them anyway. So I gave them all the rest of the cards and gave up on trading cards until two years ago when I made a random set that was really complex, but that's a different story.

That's actually a little amusing as How I entertain myself on rainy weekends, (besides sitting around on this forum) is making a little card game of my own.
