Its been a good while.  probably at least 12-15 months ago.   I could probably find the receipts if I really tried.  That was a pretty good time in general to be buying.  I remember picking up 3 Saruman, SOS from Ebay buy-it-now for $6.00.  But then again I was on Ebay constantly back then.  My best was 8 RoS starters for $13.00 after shipping. 

I love getting into games when they're dying lol.  My two biggest games that I play now are Lotr and Mage Knight Dungeons.  Needless to say I am very thankful for this website!

Another trustworthy place to buy is House Atreides based in UK (http://www.hacards.com/).  Got a Ring of Doom foil for $12 there.

Most of these places have pretty much scraped the bottom of the barrel as far as power Lotr cards are concerned.  You just have to keep checking for when/if they get more stock. (which may not happen anymore :/)

heheh, 12-15 months ago... Just wondered it because I haven't seen any "good deals" at cardexchange for awhile (like in 6 months) except for some ME: CCG goodies

Hey...I notice ghhhk is auctioning all Hunters singes on e-bay and they will end on Saturday.  Most rares are still unbid and some of the best cards are still at $1.

lol it's all good.  I didn't win any
