Multicultural wounding decks in Movie block are pretty annoying. Slaked Thirsts, Terrible and Evil and possibly Deep in Thought during maneuver, a vitality 5 Legolas during archery, and Eowyn, Lady of Ithilien to mop up. Not to mention Radagast, the Brown to run...

So in a game that featured Sam going toe-to-toe with Sauron, the Lord of the Rings, I couldn't be more pleased with the results of this one. Even if it was quite boring to play.

Wow, I come on here almost 2 months later to post another close game, and discover it's the same opponent as before, the same decks! GLR vs GLR, super close. This time Timour beat me to the end, But Gimli corrupted at the last possible second!

Here's a super-close knock down drag out fight between a Gil-Galad looping deck, and a Madril deck!

Huge amount of attrition on both sides. Some highlights:

Sauron comes out at Site 2 and kills a guy!

Greed takes out three guys at Site 3!

Glorfindel, Gandalf, Radagast, and Smeagol all bite it at Site 5!

Boromir and Pippin kill The Balrog!

Boromir and Pippin kill Sauron! But Radagast and Smeagol die (again).

Gil-galad finally falls at Site 7 to Gollum, Shelob, Gothmog, and Grima!

Then Boromir loses his little buddy Pippin.

The Witch-king and Gollum take out Aragon at Site 8, leaving Galadriel all by herself, but pumped to the max.

Galadriel finally falls at Site 9, to Gollum, Grima, and Shotgun Enquea!

Tower Block league, sets 4-5. I pulled off an incredible sequence of Uruk machines going off one by one and decimating his fellowship. I never thought I could do all of that at once:

Here's something I've never seen pulled off before: Testing out my new Realm of Dwarrowdelf Expanded deck, going up against Gil-galad looping archery. Those elves made it all the way to site 8... when suddenly Sixth of the Nine Riders comes down with a DOUBLE helping of Relentless Charge, for an instant 3 hits on every guy! Nobody was left but Galadriel, and she wasn't left long!

Such an intense tug-of-war in almost every site after 3! Glamdring came to late to rescue me...

Revised Tower Sealed. I had horrible Free Peoples draws all game, and I was unfortunate enough to get a Blade Tip on my Frodo at site 2. It took every ounce of good luck to have me survive long enough, and my companions were dying left and right. By site 8, I had only Frodo left, and 8 burdens. But then I finally drew into Sam, Proper Poet, who helped me to miraculously survive at site 9.

It's my new Realm of Dwarrowdelf Expanded deck. 200 cards! Going up against Ninja Gollum. I actually burned through the entire deck! Everybody but Gimli was dead by site 8, but he couldn't catch me, so Gimli moved to 9 solo, and won!
