Elrohirs Tournament Impressions

I arrived at Amsterdam after 15 hours in train.

My  allies /  Trackers vs  wounding / Hobbit-Gandalf-Gondor strength -> smeagollum

I go first and run. I give sparingly pool due to Aragorn and Frodo. My trackers are not strong enough (Gandalf is strength 10 and damage!!), but scary enough to stop the fellowship. Weary is discarded by Albert Dreary.
I kill in maneuver and archery all "strong" minions, and they exert my companions. After underesimating Gollum (he killed my Aragorn), I play Sam at the seventh site. With Arwen, Legolas, Frodo and allies, I can run to full win.

My  allies /  Trackers vs  besieger /  Mount Doom

I go first and run. My trackers are another time scary enough to stop the fellowship. Cirdan and Galadriel work well. But I did not be ware of the tons of engines - so, some troll said "hello". I lost.

My wounding-token / besieger vs  knights /  Swarm

My elves kill easily the few minions in archery phase (they did not reduce fellowship archery  ). My besiegers can not do anything caused by bows and fortifications.
At site nine, 10  minion come out, facing 6 companions. I discard the troll, and enhance my archery total a lot. 2 minions survive - I won.

My wounding-token / besieger vs  tokens /  corruption

I do not draw any condition discard, so I get problems with the condition, who adds burdens when I lose a skirmish. Orcs are well equipped and they add about 12 pool every turn  . My besiegers do their best, but Galadriel gets corrupted.
I have lost.

My wounding-token / besieger vs  strength /    Final triumph hunters

Besiegers take easily control of sites. And my elves kill minions in archery phase - so I do not let my opponent play his final triumph. As the Uruks tried to swarm, I made fellowship archery total +6 with my legolas. I can win with both sides of my deck, and I decide to run. Full Win.

My wounding-token / besieger vs  Gandy-gondor allrounder /  -> Gil-Estel

I recognize at site one the "unbeatable" and "unstopable" fellowship of my opponent, so I had to run. But I can not be as fast as the brown wizard (and gil-Estel went first anyway). While playing, I was explained, what are must-sees in Amsterdam and what a goulash krokete is.
I did not draw some fellowship cards like Namarie or elvenbow. So I just do 2-3 archery. The Nazguls add tokens to the killing condition and Galadriel went on holiday to valinor - because the nazgul were not nice

++Saw old faces, like Disco Stu, Mad-Goblin and Gil-Estel.
++goulash krokete (actually still do not know what it is, but it tastes good!)

Still pitty I lost the first round to you, otherwise I would have won the tournament... But it was fun playing you. I specially liked your suprised face when I killed you Aragorn while I was skirmishing Frodo.. But then it was already to late tos top you. Great game!

I'm glad you liked the tournament! I'll organize another one in the first weekend of July!
