All my respect to your team for a hard game. I wish it hadnt ended the way it did, a clear cut victory either way would have been much better. I just wish Giggs had put his chance away!!

Wow TJ i was expecting this sometime and when it appeared i thought o carp here it comes, but thanks for giving me a break, i was devastated. Gutted is a good word.

It was a very entertaining final imho. Man Utd was better in the first half, with a few chances at scoring, which they did and who else then Cristiano Ronaldo scored....Chelsea came back via a bit of luck. The moment was perfect though, just before halftime. The pitch was slippery as fishes and my hero Van der Sar had a few moment were he was lucky that him slipping away wasn't resulting in more goals. Second half was for Chelsea and they had also a few possibilities of winning the game. Overall I think a draw was fair, but hé, this is a final....So after extra time there were penalties. It is such a lotery. I found it hard which team to support. At one hand I don't have sympaties for Ronaldo, but on the other hand Chelsea is somewhat boring and has a billionaire that bought the team. Well, for me the end was perfect. Ronaldo missed his penalty kick and my hero, Van der Sar stopped Anelka's penalty! It is nice to see a fellow Dutchman to be so important. Hopefully he can bring the same form to the European Championship!

It was very entertaining but as an Arsenal fan I couldn't make my mind up who I wanted to win.

Just to clarify, sop. Terry, Chelsea's main player, went to the penalty kick line for the final penalty (of the mandatory 5-penalty series, after that, it it's still tied, each team kicks one, until someone misses), all he had to do was score and Chelsea would win. He went for it... and SLIPPED! Fell to the ground and all! And even so, he's so #$&*@! good, his kick missed by an inch or so, the goalkeeper had picked the wrong side to jump to. After that, Anelka missed HIS penalty, and Manchester United won.
So, I guess you'll have the opportunity to see them playing aginast Fluminense at the end of the year! ;)
I, for one, wish it was Flamengo, but we got knocked out of Copa Libertadores da América, so I'll just be glad if another team from Rio de Janeiro makes it to the FIFA World Championship.
