Orc InsurgentThe idea here was to have fun with my fellowship. Pipeweed give healing and other benefits. The shadow should be absolutely killing. Unfortunately when all was in play
Elrohir discarded 2 of my most important conditions and I didn't get them back in time. Yet
Sweeter Meats was a nice suprise to his Aragorn

Basicly the idea is to control assignment with the shadow. The wizards become strong thx to
throne of Isengard and when they are in they become very cheap minions so you are able to play at least 3 to 5 minions a time. Bill Ferny and Nertea are in as possible boost or to assign an alternate rb. With Grima I can cancel a special ability and exert a companion, which is actually good. I can also use him to force my opponent to fight my stronger minions with his weaker companions. Same goes for Mauhur.
Fellowship is strong enough to survive. Pipin becomes large with all the tales and if the tales are gone Merry can boost other companions. Not to much possesions, because of corsairs. But the possesions which are in are usefull. Blade of gondord to take over skirmishes and
sting to ge an extra vitality, extra resistance and an extra strength, also optional treatremoval. Legols is there to kill very nasty minions in the archery. And Gimli is anti-lurker. With Gandalf I can cancel an event.
This deck should be weak against mono-smeagol and against Beasterlings
About the tournament itself:
It was great fun to see some old faces again and to see new ones as well. Unfortunatelly not everybody who signed up came. But still it was fun.
There were no complaints so far I heard. Except for one about an errata with
Frenzy of arrows. Actually I didn't new that one either. Strange errata. We need to discuss this I think.
Having no x-list was no problem. The restrictions were enough.
I thought it was a pitty I didn't play Lars (from Germany), because I think I would have a good chance against him. But in the end you can't win your own tournament and I think Lars was the deserved winner!
I think the prize-support was nice. And I hope everybody enjoyed the day.
I'm thinking of planning a new tournament in the beginning of July. I hope you'll be there again!
oh..and I won the prize for the most original and creative decks
