Exalted Beatstick
« on: February 10, 2009, 06:35:15 AM »
Now I know some people (FM) arent big into Exalted decks, but I have been working on one with the following

(G)(R)(W)

Wooly Thoctar
Chameleon Colossus
#$&*@!'s Thunder
(1) or (2) mana Exalted crits

I needs some mana fixing options... CIPT doesnt help as Exalted crits look like they will suffer from Firespout. Panaroma's seem good

If you could eschew Thoctar for Rhox War Monk (which I think is better), and reconsider #$&*@!'s Thunder, you could go Bant and play with the new "Birds", it fixes mana AND is Exalted. OTOH, I like where THIS is going, MAINLY because of #$&*@!'s Thunder, so, tough spot.

I have been using the Elf that can be tapped for (W)(R)(G) for fixing but these new Birds will have to be investigated. I thought you would like the idea of Exalted #$&*@!'s Thunder

I do, which is what hurt's me the most about eschewing red altogether. However, to be quite honest, #$&*@!'s Thunder is great because you can Unearth him post-sweeper, and by then you won't really have nothing ti exalt it, now will you? Might not be that great after all.

Hmm Exalted or not I think #$&*@!'s Thunder is nasty... the Exalted side helps Colossus beat some serious heads, expecially with that Angel that can make him flying or trample.

What about the Exalted guy that gives double strike?

Oh I pulled a Colossus on Saturday aswell, I was VERY happy with that.

Yes, every Exalted deck I saw working played with Rafiq of the Many.
