Settlers of Catan is a lot of fun, if you can find someone to play. Chess doesn't really count as a board game, but I like all the strategy in it.

MAJOR bump, but, anyone knows an online shop that will ship The Settlers of Catan to Brazil? Learned to play the game last week, and it's awesome.

And to some it's not just a board game... It's their whole life. Like that Anti-American, Jewish, Anti-Semitic, Neo-Nazi, Icelandic-thrice-times-Chess-Grandmaster-Bobby Fisher. Who recently died, btw.

 I also played Dominion for the first time last night and I liked it also.  It's all about deck building and hand management. I taught my wife to play in less than 5 minutes.   I'll throw in a different mix of kingdom cards next time to see how it changes up the game.
