well to give you a brief, I'll just explain my yesterday sunday ;)

Woke up about 7:30, set table, ate off to church.  Helped check in pre-K and under kids into 9:00 service hour and than went off to bible instruction class for freshman.  That covered most of the first service, and when it was done I headed up with some friends to see the last parts of the service.
than went to S-school for second service, and after that was a childrens ministry appreciation dinner. fun fun fun. fried chicken and mashed potatoes!

than came home, messed around on computer, and got some friends together.

player LOTR with 2 of them, than got some more together and did 6-7 player halo.

Than they had to leave, ate supper with parents small group, and went downstairs to goof around for the three hours that that would be going on.
played another game of LOTR with litbro ( lost to my own deck) than read some tom clancy and played around an hour of battlefront 2.  Legendary regulator kachow!

..and the seventh day God invented nascar?...haha

Furthermore, again for those who are religious, do you go out to restaurants, go shopping, cinema and such?

If my mates are up for it yeah. We kind of understand the whole  'day of rest' thing to mean day of relaxation and not working rather than doing absolutely nothing.

yeah ditto here.  though, halo can be a lot of work.  seriously! the tactics involved in assault on zanzibar!

LOL at hawkeye.  I actually watched the end of one race, aside from a few crashes that were kewl, it seemed kinda boring (BTW no one got hurt in the crashes, otherwise it wouldn't be kewl...)

What is a nascar?
Shops are all closed on sundays here. So there is no shopping. As we are religious here, even Restaurants are closed. So you have to book to get a place in a Restaurant that might be open.

I like to go to cinema on sundays, but you have to pay much more on weekends  :'(.

Nascar is a racing discipline. Circuits are all oval and they have to do a huge amount of laps. It is more strategic than one might think at the first glance. Tire presure, amount of fuel, pitsstops are all very essential in this racing class. But to me it is kinda dull, but I'm not a race fan anyway....

Ok back on topic.

Yeah I kinda find Nascar a bit dull. Its really hard to tell who's winning and all the cars are just driving in a circle over and over again.

I guess I did. :P I used to watch all of the races, but I haven't actually watched an entire one in several years.
