worst LOTR card ever, with at least no use/ discussion
« on: March 04, 2009, 05:58:57 AM »
Hey, when I sometimes go through my cards, there are always some of these I never consider to play, cause they are that bad and useless, I mean, almost every card can be good in a specific deck, but some are just, that bad...

My three are:

Henchman's dagger  :-? from TD!!!!
since errata: frenzy of arrows
Too Much Attention

which are yours?  :)

First, such thread already exists.

Second, Too Much Attention can be used in a Fellowship block [Isengard] discard deck (they exist. I saw Kralik using one.)

Third, The Weight of a Legacy would be my choice in this matter.

Been done many many times mate and the consensus is usually Weight of a Legacy though i always think Men of Harad is shockingly poor.

How about some useless cards from the last 3 sets?

Elven Supplies
Frenzy of Arrows (after errata)
Miruvore
Scintillating Bird
Uruk Village Rager (too weak for site control)

i made a deck that used elven supplies as one of its main tactics. i used 4x the faithful stone (i think pre-errata) to generate tons of tokens and then in the fellowship transferred those tokens onto the elven supplies. then arwen, she elf could use those tokens to beat the crud out of anybody, plus i could use them in emergency with any of my other elves.

I have started to hate Army of Haradrim, AI or not that is a wank card.

Nazgul Blade from BR... waste of time, except in Nazgul possession decks... which are a waste of time

"holy set"

As mentioned in other threads, I don't like Scintillating Bird because the Shadow player gets to decide. I nearly ran it in a tentacle deck (where discarding tentacles would be a good thing), but had trouble with not wanting to discard certain FP cards. Such a cool picture makes me want to use it, though.

The Faithful Stone for generation? That's a cool idea, MM! :gp: And it looks like adding the tokens themselves is unaffected by errata.

Guess it's like the Woodland Sentinel symptom. Even if a card totally fits the theme of a deck, there might be stronger cards out there that go straight to the point.

Hahaha, no, but you were close - Orkish Camp is my least favorite card. I do fancy the picture in Gruesome Meal though mmmm.
